Let's all be random, shall we?

ITS BEEN FOREVAR!

And I have nothing new to show you people for it!

Think happy thoughts, HAPPY THOUGHTS. Lest I get murdered in my sleep.

*facepalm*

Hmm, well, I’m here to compare 2 of the Code Geass mangas, Lelouch of the Rebellion and Renya of Darkness. And yes, this is as biased as it can get.

First, I do think that Lelouch is better, and that is purely comparing the first chapters. (Seeing as how I have JUST read the CG: LotR today)

Well, lets say first page on Mangafox:

Lelouch:

Complete with fires, colour, and a plot concerning something global, very introduction based and doesn’t show any characters, making it more focused on this war.

and then, Renya:

Here, you have a girl, the Geass symbol, and some dude that looks like Lelouch, just to get us “LELOUCH IS ALIVE AAFGSJFD!!!” happy. Yeah… /dislike D:<

Hmm, lets see, the main storyline on both focuses on the main character, but Renya’s characters have less… depth..

You see, Lelouch was an arrogant bastard (who had every right to be) from the beginning who was clearly more brains than brawn, what with that inability to run more than 10 seconds or so… Renya is your average trouble maker main character of a shonen manga (like Naruto, but less epic)

Yes, everyone says that Renya doesn’t have enough chapters to make a good judgement call, and comparing it to something that has 2 seasons worth of ANIME isn’t fair, but SOMEONE needs to pay for the false hope the manga gave us CG fans…

EDIT: Renya… your “I CAN’T CONTROL THIS HAND, SO IF I KILL YOU, SORRY IN ADVANCE, LOL” isn’t very good for your image or development into an epic y’know >_>
